Baseball The Magazine concentrates on youth baseball from t-ball and coach pitch through NCAA play and coverage includes NCAA Men's Tournament and College World Series play, youth baseball across the country, contributing editors working in the sport, industry interviews and gear information, team spotlights, player spotlights, college and human interest articles and much more.

Bat Wars ( is an industry phenomenon that sparked in 1997 from humble beginnings to an often imitated event that participants agree cannot be aptly duplicated. The industry renowned product testing event allows players and enthusiasts to hit a variety of bats in surroundings similar to actual play. The event is free to the public and is produced across the United States, sponsored by Eastbay and various industry partners. There are Bat Wars events for slowpitch softball, fastpitch softball and youth baseball and yearly scheduled events are easily found on the website.

Softball Magazine Adult Softball Spring Training ( is produced each March by Softball Magazine and each year has been sold out in December of the previous year. Open to men and women adult players, “Campers” are treated to on field instruction in the various fielding positions and hitting from Men's Majors Pros and industry representatives, scheduled scrimmage games, contests and more. Lunch is served at the field each of the three days of the event and on the final evening a banquet is held which family members and friends are invited to share. At the banquet, industry spokespeople and representatives, along with Softball Magazine staff, host a night of fun and awards and prizes all in a family atmosphere that includes a fun time for all that attend.

Softball Central is the broadcast arm of Softball Magazine.
